Puerto Vallarta. A great place to spend a first Christmas. I got to be with my parents- dad didn't do any doctoring for a whole week- and the Eidson side of the family plus Granny Fran the Great. We also had the crazy Harris crew along with their 2 grand daughters Lillian and Avery. Needless to say the three of us were the hottest topic of conversation throughout the seven days!
Our house was called Casa Macumba and couldn't have been more perfect for our group. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all we had this amazing chef named Donia Lola - she could cook like none other. And Fernando the pool boy could make a killer pitcher of Pina Coladas whenever the parents were feeling the need for some fruit juice! We got to squish our toes in the sand and splash through the waves. The weather was a perfect 85 and sunny each day plus the house we stayed in was right on the ocean. No one could hear us screaming with the great waves crashing in the back! I really enjoyed floating in the pool or playing on the towels next to the pool.
You'll see the Three Amigas in a few of the photos. Everyone gave us so many sweet treats and we were dressed alike more than a few times. I didn't master crawling until I got back to Erie, but we still managed to have all kinds of fun.
Feliz Navidad everyone, and don't forget Christmas is always better with a little guacamole and a margarita!
