Sip N See

The Rolofson's and Pignotti's had the greatest party in my honor... a sip n see. They held it at Lyle's "office" in the caves out in Shawnee. He is a wine distributor and a perfect place for a party. There was a large giraffe and water with my name on it, how cool is that? Of course there were plenty of fun wines for my parents and friends to sip on. I really liked looking at all of the bright lights and polka dots Marti had made in honor of the party. Thanks again friends, it was a terrific afternoon!

Auntie Thornhill

Oh yes, got to meet Auntie Thornhill in Kansas City. She came to visit her family, but really to meet me, over Memorial Day weekend. Uncle Alasdair figured out that I would be really happy lying upside down on the exercise ball. You can see I was totally thrilled. He is so creative! Thanks for the visit Laura, can't wait to see you in DC.

Go T-Bones

I've been told baseball is America's pasttime, so I had to go check it out for myself. We got to go to the T-Bones game in Kansas City with some of mom's teacher friends. I got to tailgate for the first time and saw a few funny games in between innings. It was a late night, and we left before it was over. But I know I'll get to another game in Erie, go Sea Wolves!

Three Generations

During Dad's graduation weekend, we had three generations of Rice women. Granny Fran, Madi and Auntie Allison. It was so much fun for all of them to hold me. I was so good at dinner, note to self, when you need a nap just take along your stroller!

My Daddy's a Doctor

Dad woke me up early on May 17 in this crazy black dress. I didn't ever recognize him in the hat, but I did my best to smile. Guess he walked across the stage and magically became a doctor. Mom reports he is going to look in people's ears and noses for a living, sounds kind of gross to me... but whatever makes him happy. Congrats dad.
