I'm a child of God!

The next day, I got to go to Village Church in my pretty white dress. This is where my parents got married, so it was really special for everyone. Reverend Are actually baptized me into the Presbyterian Church. He held me and gently made a cross on my forehead. Best of all, I got to be paraded in front of the entire congregation, that was cool. I will be raised with the knowledge and love of God. I'm a special girl! Thanks for everyone who joined us at the service.

One is so MUCH fun!

I began my birth month in Kansas City being celebrated by friends and family. As you can see I was helping my Madi make her famous dip, it tasted pretty good!

Pal and I like to look out the window and check for birds. This ledge was built for me, I can see out with ease and bring all kinds of toys in the windowsill and they can't fall down. Ideal for a girl like me!

You can see me and Auntie Allison getting ready for my party. The theme was cupcakes and champagne, looks like Allison is getting in the spirit!

I had a super yummy cake and was so polite... didn't really dive into it. I am a huge fan of the frosting, it was just fun to have an entire room of people sing to me. And amazingly enough, they all knew the same song. Adults are REALLY smart!

Where has Caroline gone?

Sorry to all of my fans out there for the serious delay in posting... I've been so busy since turning one my agent just hasn't found the time to alert you on my latest happenings. I'm still happy to hang onto hands while walking. I can stand on my own - when I'm not thinking about it - but just don't choose to walk as of yet. I'm jabbering up a storm, everything in my world is mama and dada. I'm eating like a horse, and will try just about anything. Mom was worried about the end of the bottle/formula situation, but in the end, I haven't missed it. I'm all about sippy cups and sharing the foods I don't like with Charlotte. Guess those are the highlights. I'm sure there will be more explanation with the zillions of photos that need to get posted.

I'm A Big Girl Now

Working my way towards 11 months here on Earth and wow have I changed. As you can see, I needed a bigger car seat. I wasn't a fan the first night, but now I can appreciate how much more room I have in the car then my old seat.

I'm pulling up on just about anything. And if you'll hold my hands and walk with me, I'm the happiest kid around. I will even grab your hands so they can allow me to walk, it's pretty clever for a little kid! If you let go of my hands, I'm pretty sure to stop dead in my tracks, just haven't gained any confidence yet that I can do it on my own.

Everything seems to be a toy these days. I love kitchen magnets and really anything that I can bang together. Wooden spoons, plastic balls, books... I can make music with anything. But of course, Charlotte's toys seem to be much more fun than anything else in the house. I seem to drag those out daily.

Come visit and I'll show all of my new tricks!
