Washington DC

My mom is such a slacker... almost 4 months have gone by and she never added in the best trip of the spring! I got to visit my favorite Aunt Thornhill and Aunt Lori. We stayed at Laura's house and were a quick walk - as usual - to Lori's groovy condo. I loved the big city life. Tons of people to watch, great places to eat and a perfect Spring weekend weather wise. We visited lots of neat places around their houses, then had to take the proverbial walk down to the White House. Mom had to have me in a few key places! : ) Didn't get a chance to swing with Sasha and Melia on the new swing set, but probably next time.

Best of all I got to see Liz and John. They had great news - they were engaged. My mom screamed so loudly the whole neighborhood probably heard, but hey she was excited. What's a girl to do?

Sunday morning we headed over to Alexandria, VA to visit the Ozkan's. They have two kiddos and I really loved sharing Ayla and Mete's toys... they had a great collection of stuff. It was nice to see some people my own age after hanging out with adults all weekend. My grandparents and the Ozkan kid grandparents are in a dinner club together called the Cheeselogs... random name I know. Sarah and my mom grew up together, kind of fun now that their kids can play together.

Overall, it was a perfect trip - I'll have to keep it on my list of places to visit again!

I'm A Big Girl Now

This is a picture of Daddy and myself sharing my last bottle. That's right, no more bottles or formula for me. I love sippy cups and I love milk! Actually, this getting older thing isn't all bad. I love to sit outside in nature and play, dig, tear, eat and watch anything and everything I can get my hands on.

The zoo is a short walk from my house, I visit it on a weekly basis. The animals are neat, they kind of smell funny and make some odd noises... but at the end there is a slide. Can't get enough of it. I can even climb up to it on my own, and come down - head first. See the thrill in my face? I'm so glad summer is finally here and I can really enjoy Erie, PA.

Remember This Face?

Here's just a sweet collection of "Sweet" Caroline moments throughout her first few months. Each week we'll add in a few more favorites.

Enjoy... we sure do!

Erie, PA - The Birthday Celebrations Continue!

I got to have 2 birthday parties, mom said this is the LAST time that will happen, so glad I enjoyed them both to the hilt! I got to have lots of friends over for lunch in Erie. Neighbors, interns, other residents and new friends joined us. It was a a perfect day, even got to play outside. Both sets of grandparents came to celebrate with me. It was a super special time for my whole family. I'm one, and SO much fun!
